UX+ really helped me transition to a career in UX Design. As a career shifter, I was provided with more than enough help I need to learn the fundamentals and to eventually apply the necessary skills. With just a month before graduation, I was already able to land my first job interview for a UX role. UX+ helped me achieve my goals of developing my confidence and preparing myself for future opportunities as a UX Designer.
UX+ University couldn’t have come at a better time in my life. It was that one final push that I needed in order to call really myself a UX practitioner. The curriculum exceeded my expectations. We had very dedicated mentors and instructor who was available even outside of class hours. They’re all very approachable and you can really feel that they want us to grow and be better designers. Aside from the learnings, one of the best things I gained from joining UX+ University was the community. The class was able to connect and get to know each other through the check-ins, activities, movie nights and game nights, and of course the projects. I can confidently say that joining UX+ University was worth every penny and I’m excited to see what’s in store for my classmates as well as the growth of the program.
UX+ University met my expectations and more! I really like how engaging the whole program was and how it felt like I wasn't alone throughout the process. The instructor and the mentors were really amazing. I learned a lot from them and felt like I was given more direction than if I were studying UX alone. I've been equipped with the fundamentals and have a bit more confidence than before. I'm also really glad to have met my classmates here who really just inspire me to become a better designer.
As a career-shifter, UX+ University has given me the key to my absolute dream, and that is to gain the skills and confidence in the UX field. UX+ University taught me so much, including facilitating user research, conducting usability tests, empathizing with users, pitching design proposals to real clients, and many others! I started with knowing so little about UX —I just knew a few terms, and a few processes about design thinking through reading online, but only in UX+ University was I given the chance to experience what it's like to think, work, communicate, and collaborate as a UX designer; with the perks and freedom to make mistakes, and of course, correct them through continuous feedback and guidance from our teachers and mentors.
Through UX+ University, I was able to practice my skills in not just designing but also in working with teams, presenting designs to key stakeholders, and justifying my design decisions which is just as important as the design itself. Much of the value and learning comes from the mentorship sessions, peer feedback sessions, and even just when I talk with my classmates for fun. I wouldn't grow this much, this fast in 16 weeks alone, and I can now more confidently say that I can do UX design.
UX+ University was an intense course that will force you out of your comfort zone and teach you how to look at things differently. And as someone who’s trying to transition from Graphic Design, it was exactly what I needed. The course guides you through the whole process of UX design, from research and prototyping, to participating in a sprint. It gives you the foundations that you’ll need. But for me the biggest factor that I loved about UX+ University was how dedicated the mentors are. They devote their time and effort just to help us grow and I will always be thankful for them.
I never thought that learning online can be so fun and interactive. I was able to learn more about the lectures by doing the projects with real clients and true-to-life problem assignments first-hand, with the guidance of our mentors inside the bootcamp.
As someone new to user experience, UX+ University is a great place to start. They equipped me with the needed knowledge to shift to a UX role and prepared me for my future. Not only did I get to learn the fundamentals, but I improved on communication, collaboration, and presenting to others. They helped me gain a better and clearer understanding of UX. Aside from the technical aspect, I became a better designer because they showed me how to navigate the UX world with confidence to communicate and present my work. I recommend this course to anyone who wishes to jumpstart their career in UX.
UX+ University is a really great stepping stone for someone who wants to start a career in UX. Before joining the program, I was just taking various online courses and reading articles. There wasn't really any structure to my learning. UX+ was able to provide me this structure and so much more in order to streamline my learning. Now, I can confidently say that I can take on a full-time UX/UI design job!
UX+ University has helped me in improving my design skills and learning to create evidence-based designs. This is also where I got to meet a lot of driven and motivated people that challenge me to push myself even more. I owe it to the UX+ team for guiding me in honing both my technical and soft skills.

UX+ University felt so much like Sandbox from Start Up, everyone is so like-minded and passionate about growth and design. I learned so much and felt that I grew exponentially in such a short amount of time and it was all thanks to the amazing community and environment UX+ University had. The instructors and mentors are absolutely amazing. They give you so much opportunities and resources and all you really have to do is grab them. Literally life changing.
Joining UX+ University has been life-changing, and I'm not even exaggerating. I saw how 30 individuals grew from not knowing user personas and journeys, to confidently presenting seamless prototypes to multiple clients.
The course not only taught us the fundamentals of UX, but also the fundamentals of life. There are billions of problems in front of us and within us, all waiting to be defined. There are numerous of opportunities all waiting to be identified. There are countless of solutions that waiting to be tested. There are a lot of prototypes waiting to be validated. Finally, there are several versions waiting to be iterated - several better versions of yourself waiting.
It taught me life. What more can you ask for?
Being part of UX+ University was a very challenging journey for me yet also a memorable and great learning experience. I was able to connect with other people who were also new to UX as well, and together we have gained so much from our mentors and instructors. UX+ University taught me how to approach design challenges and build design solutions using user experience research methods, principles and materials.
UX+ University has been the best thing out of this pandemic. The program is extremely well-curated for both beginners, professionals, and career shifters. The curriculum spans basic theoretical principles to advanced client applications that go head to head with the NN/g programs that I've attended. Having mentors that you can approach anytime really helped. It would've been difficult to progress if it weren't for them. So, a message for the next batch and aspiring applicants is to get feedback on your work early and don't be afraid to make mistakes because that's what UX+ University is for.
As a newbie in the tech field, UX+ University has provided me with the foundational knowledge on the different terminologies, concepts and processes behind User Experience Design.
